Year in review – July 2018
Dear Friends:
I would like to share my gratitude for making the first year of Dr. Tom Thompson Leadership Strategies so rewarding. I embarked on this project to provide counsel on governance, leadership and innovation strategies – and discovered a rapidly expanding network of colleagues who are devoted to achieving great work.
What has become most apparent in my first year of consulting is that emergent change is ever-present. The determination to succeed and grow with confidence towards our organizational goals is very strong in Canada, and I am so proud of to be involved in honourable and exciting work that is underway in this beautiful part of the world.
As always, it has been a pleasure to work alongside you in stewardship and shared leadership, and to celebrate the fruits of your labour. It has been my pleasure to see the breadth of your vision and determination. We continue to face many uncertainties – economically, politically, socially. But I am confident that strategic vision, rooted in sound leadership and the work of a team, will continue to be the source for success. What challenges can I help you with, as you continue to adapt to the changing landscape in the world? I will work mindfully alongside you to support your vision and goals.
